A Short Comedy Story: The Mischievous Monkey
Once upon a time, in a big green jungle, there lived a monkey named Momo. Momo was always up to something funny. He loved playing tricks on his animal friends, but he never hurt anyone.
One bright morning, Momo decided to play a joke on the lion, Leo. Leo was the king of the jungle, and he liked to take long naps under a big tree.
Momo quietly sneaked up to Leo and tied his tail to a branch while he was sleeping. When Leo woke up, he stood up to stretch, but to his surprise, his tail was stuck!
He started walking around in circles, trying to figure out what was happening. All the animals in the jungle watched and laughed.
But Leo wasn’t angry. He knew Momo was just being silly. He smiled and said, “Momo, you’re a funny monkey, but I’ll get you next time!”
Momo giggled and untied Leo’s tail. “Okay, Leo. You can get me next time,” he said, running away.
Later that day, Momo decided to play another prank. This time, he hid behind a bush and started making funny noises. The animals, like the elephant and zebra, got scared and ran away, thinking there was a wild animal nearby.
Momo laughed so hard, his tummy hurt. “I’m the king of pranks!” he thought. But soon, the animals came back and said, “Momo, your jokes are funny, but you need to stop. We are not scared anymore!”
Momo felt a little embarrassed. He didn’t want to make everyone upset. So, he decided to stop playing tricks and joined the animals for a big picnic.
Everyone laughed and shared stories, and Momo promised not to prank anyone again. But deep down, he knew that someday, he would come up with an even funnier joke!
