Once upon a time, in a small town called Greenfield, there was an election. Everyone was talking about it. People were choosing the new mayor. Two people wanted to be mayor: Mr. Brown and Ms. Green. Both were kind and smart, but everyone knew the election would be very close.

The town was full of excitement. Posters were on every wall. People discussed who would be the best mayor. Children also heard their parents talking about it. They asked many questions. “Who will win?” “Why is voting important?”

In Greenfield, there was a boy named Tim. Tim was ten years old. He loved helping his parents and learning new things. He could not vote yet because he was too young, but he wanted to see how voting worked. Tim thought it was very interesting.

On the day of the election, the town hall was full of people. Everyone was waiting to vote. Mr. Brown smiled and waved at the people. Ms. Green shook hands and greeted everyone. Both looked nervous but happy.
