The enemy wanted to take over the village and make the people unhappy.
Shivaji knew he had to do something to protect his home.
With the help of his friends, Shivaji made a clever plan.
He and his friends built a strong fort on a hill.
They worked hard, day and night, and soon the fort was ready.
When the enemy arrived, they saw the strong fort and were very surprised.
Shivaji and his friends were brave and did not give up.
They protected the fort and their village.
The people of the village were very happy and proud of Shivaji.
They celebrated with a big feast, and everyone was safe again.
Shivaji became a hero in their land.
He showed that even young people can be brave and help others.

Shivaji and the Clever Elephant
Long ago, in the land of Maharashtra, there was a brave and clever boy named Shivaji.
He loved his village very much and always wanted to keep it safe.
One day, Shivaji heard that a big, bad king wanted to take over their village.
Shivaji knew he had to find a way to protect everyone.
He thought and thought until he had a great idea.
Shivaji went to the forest and met a wise old elephant named Ganesha.
Ganesha was very smart and kind.
Shivaji asked Ganesha to help him save the village.
Ganesha agreed and followed Shivaji back to the village.
Shivaji and Ganesha made a plan.
Ganesha would use his strong trunk to carry big rocks and trees to build a strong wall around the village.
Shivaji and his friends worked hard, too.
They used the rocks and trees to make the wall high and strong.
When the bad king arrived with his army, he saw the strong wall and was very surprised.
He tried to find a way to get through, but the wall was too strong.
The bad king realized he couldn’t get in and decided to leave.
The village was safe, and everyone was very happy.
They celebrated with a big party and thanked Shivaji and Ganesha for their bravery and cleverness.
Shivaji and Ganesha became great friends, and the village lived happily and safely because of their hard work.
And so, Shivaji and the village were always grateful for their wise and clever elephant friend.

Shivaji carefully lowered a rope into the well and gently pulled up the necklace.

He ran back to the village and gave the necklace back to Rani.
Rani was so excited and thanked Shivaji for his help.
