Sita was sitting under a tree, sorrowful but calm, surrounded by evil demons who tried to guard her. She was deeply worried about Rama but had not lost hope. When Hanuman appeared, she was initially surprised, but Hanuman introduced himself respectfully. He told her that he had come as a messenger from Lord Rama, and he assured her that Rama would soon rescue her.
Sita gave Hanuman her signet ring, saying that Rama would recognize it. This was a token of faith and love, a proof that Hanuman had truly met her. Hanuman comforted Sita and asked her to remain strong. He promised her that he would return safely and carry back a message to Rama. Sita, relieved and hopeful, prayed for Hanuman’s safety and thanked him for his courage.
Before leaving Lanka, Hanuman decided to teach the demons a lesson for keeping Sita captive. He revealed his immense strength and fearlessly entered the city. He destroyed the gardens, broke statues, and set fire to buildings with his burning tail. The demons tried to stop him, but none could match Hanuman’s strength.
