The Village That Time Forgot

Once upon a time, there was a small village hidden in the hills.

It was a peaceful place where people lived simple lives.

The houses were made of wood and straw, and the roads were narrow, winding paths.

The villagers worked hard in their fields, grew food, and took care of their animals.

They lived happily without much contact with the outside world.

One day, a young boy named Arjun from a nearby city visited the village.

He had heard stories about a place where time seemed to stand still, and he was curious to see it for himself.

When he arrived, he was surprised to see how quiet it was.

There were no cars, no noisy machines, and no tall buildings like in the city.

The air was fresh, and the trees were tall and green.

Arjun walked around and met an old woman named Meera.

She had lived in the village her whole life.

Arjun asked her why the village was so different from the city.

Meera smiled and said, “This village has always been forgotten by time.

People here live in the present. We don’t worry about the future or the past.

We only focus on what’s around us.”

Arjun was amazed. He saw the villagers working together, sharing food, and helping each other. They lived in harmony with nature.

It was like they were living in a time long ago, when everything was slower and simpler.

The boy stayed in the village for a few days. During his stay, he learned many things.

He learned to wake up with the sun, to listen to the birds, and to feel the soft earth beneath his feet.

He realized that the village wasn’t forgotten by time, but had simply chosen to live outside its fast-moving world.

Before he left, Meera gave him a small stone. “Keep this with you, Arjun,” she said. “It will remind you to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life.”

Arjun returned to the city, but he often thought of the village.

He realized that in the busy world of the city, he had forgotten how to enjoy the small moments.

The village had taught him the importance of living in the present and not rushing through life.

And so, the village that time forgot became a place in Arjun’s heart, reminding him always to slow down and live simply.

The Invisible Friend

Once there was a little girl named Maya. She was very shy and didn’t have many friends at school.

Every day, she would sit alone in the playground, watching other children play together.

One day, while sitting under a big tree, Maya heard a voice. It was soft and friendly. “Hello, Maya!” the voice said.

Maya looked around but didn’t see anyone. She was confused. “Who are you?” she asked.

“I’m your invisible friend,” the voice replied. “You can’t see me, but I am always with you.”

Maya felt surprised, but she smiled. “That’s cool! What’s your name?” she asked.

“I don’t have a name, but you can call me whatever you like!” said the voice.

Maya thought for a moment and then said, “I will call you Sparkle!”

From that day, Maya and Sparkle became best friends. Sparkle would talk to her during lunch, play games with her in her room, and even help her with homework. Maya was never alone anymore.

At school, Maya started to feel more confident.

She joined the other children in games, and sometimes, Sparkle would help her find the right words to say. Everyone noticed that Maya was no longer shy.

One afternoon, Maya’s teacher asked her to stand in front of the class and speak.

Maya was scared, but Sparkle whispered, “You can do it, Maya. I’m here with you.”

Maya took a deep breath and spoke. She did well! The teacher and classmates clapped. Maya smiled wide, feeling proud of herself.

Maya knew that even though Sparkle was invisible, she was always there. And that made her feel strong and happy.

From that day on, Maya never felt lonely. She learned that sometimes, having an invisible friend is all you need to find courage.
