Ravi was a curious boy with a twinkle in his eye and a heart full of adventures.

He lived with his parents in a cozy little house surrounded by lush greenery.

One sunny afternoon, while playing in his backyard, Ravi noticed something peculiar at the far end of his garden.

It was a mango tree unlike any he had ever seen before.

Its branches twisted and turned, creating strange shapes that seemed to dance in the breeze.

The mangoes hanging from its branches were the size of cricket balls and shone like golden orbs in the sunlight.

Intrigued by the mysterious tree, Ravi decided to investigate.

He carefully made his way through the garden, stepping over flowerbeds and dodging bushes until he reached the mango tree.

As he got closer, he noticed a small wooden sign nailed to the trunk.

It read: “The Magical Mango Tree – Make a Wish.”

Ravi couldn’t believe his eyes.

A magical mango tree in his own backyard!

Excitedly, he plucked a ripe mango from one of the branches and held it in his hand.

Closing his eyes tightly, he made a wish with all his heart – he wished for a pet parrot to keep him company.

To his amazement, as soon as he opened his eyes, he heard a fluttering of wings above him.

Perched on a nearby branch was a colorful parrot with feathers as bright as a rainbow.

It chirped happily, as if it knew exactly what Ravi had wished for.

Overjoyed, Ravi named the parrot Mango and they became the best of friends.

They spent their days exploring the wonders of Malgudi together, flying through the clear blue skies and sharing secrets under the shade of the magical mango tree.

From that day on, Ravi knew that magic could be found in the most unexpected places, even in his own backyard.
